Scott Gairdner honored me with a cameo in the always-hilarious “Clip Cup.”

Oh my God this is great. I had never seen these.

The comments from people insisting that Tosh.0 is better are almost as funny as the video.

This Is Funny, You Should Watch It of the Day: Cassetteboy employs some stealthy editing to make the BBC’s News at Six say what they mean.

This Katy Perry song is weird.

This is still one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard.

Thank you Cory for bringing this to the masses once again.

Year In Review of the Day: Time to party like it’s 2011: DJ Earworm finally unleashes his highly anticipated mashup masterpiece, “United State of Pop 2011 (World Go Boom).”

He says:

I’ve made some changes in the song selection process this year.

In efforts to better reflect the year, I have a system that draws from the weekly charts from throughout 2011 that ensures that all the late-breaking hits (such as “We Found Love” & “Sexy and I Know It”) are included in the 2011 mix.

Go here to grab the MP3 and see the complete list of songs used in the 2011 mix.

Earlier: United State of Pop 2009; United State of Pop 2010.

Yes, okay, I want this.

I don’t know what this is (other than amazingly awesome).

Chris Kelly: Live-Blogging My 572 Listens Of Adele's "Someone Like You"

chriskelly:

It has recently come to my horrified attention that I have listened to Adele’s “Someone Like You” 572 times since February. I think, if you do the math, that works out to 33 years of listening to that song back-to-back, which seems mathematically impossible, but somehow I did it.

So without…

A few weeks ago I heard a dance remix of this song in a coffee shop, and it made me hate the world forever.

natedern:

We’re headed towards an internet diet of “information junk food.” The dark side of personalized internet experiences as created by Google, Facebook et al algorithms.

I had no idea that Google searches use personalization algorithms to that degree.

Somebody should do a shortened, auto-tuned version of this video’s main points, so people will actually pay attention to it.

Not joking.

I worry that the rest of my life will be a downward spiral of not fully understanding the new stuff that comes out on-line.
